Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s palace becomes a new tourist destination in Colombo Angry protesters occupied the residence tomorrow. On Saturday, videos emerged of protesters taking dip in swimming pool, eating in the kitchen and relaxing in the bedrooms of the President’s house. Today there was a crowd of people working out in the gym in the palace.
Dramatic scenes showed several protesters running on treadmills in the gym. Demonstrators also use cardio and weights equipment at the facility.

President Rajapaksa has fled and Currently on board the Sri Lankan Navy, government sources told NDTV. Yesterday the Sri Lankan government said that President Rajapaksa would resign on July 13.
But protesters say they will not leave Rajapaksa’s residence until he resigns. “Our struggle is not over. We will not give up this struggle until he actually leaves,” student leader Lahiru Veerasekhar told reporters today.
