The court of District Magistrate Neha Sharma had recently issued an order to confiscate the properties of slain criminal Vikas Dubey in Kanpur, Lucknow and others. Meanwhile, Regional Food Officer Hemant Kumar said that in the auction process, 608 bags of wheat and 45 bags of rice were auctioned for Rs 1.5 lakh. The price of food grains in the market was Rs 8 lakh, but due to poor handling they have got spoiled. The administration has also attached ten vehicles, including two tractors, one rotavator, one thresher machine, one trolley, one harrow, one cultivator, one motorcycle and two cars registered in the name of Vikas Dubey. Their properties in the city will also be sealed. Ten vehicles have also been seized. Soon reminders will be sent to Kanpur Dehat and Lucknow so that other properties can also be auctioned.
