‘VIP Treatment’ in Jail: Satyendar Jain Moves Court Against ED’s ‘Home-Made Food, Body Massage’ Proof

Jailed Delhi minister Satyendar Jain on Tuesday moved a special court to stay the CCTV footage or details of Tihar Jail. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) last week retrieved a footage of a cell in Tihar Jail where Jain is kept, claiming that it was evidence of the minister influencing key witnesses brought to his cell by jail staff. .

On a special request, a pen drive was also given to Jain’s lawyer with the condition that its contents would not be shared. The lawyer was also provided with a copy of the affidavit filed by the agency in which Jain was shown talking to co-accused in his cell.

The Tihar Jail administration also denied allegations that Satyendar Jain had access to any electronic gadget.
