When we say Mumbai, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Perhaps a mesmerizing sea drive? Or tall buildings? For us foodies, this is delicious and local food, especially the Vada Pav. One can also say that Vada Pav is the soul of Mumbai. There are many vada pav stalls in every nook and corner of the city. No matter where you have it, a plate of this street food will always satisfy you. And it’s not just us Indians who love this street food, those who travel from outside the country and try it, they love it too! Recently, a Japanese man traveling in Mumbai tried this delight, and his reaction is so sweet it can’t be missed.

In a video uploaded by Instagram user @koki_shishido, we can see her buying two vada pavs from a shop. He first speaks fluent Hindi and asks for street food. Then he gives a vada pav to a homeless man sitting on the side of the road. After that, they can be seen savoring the Vada Pav. He starts by taking a piece of green chili and then eats the pav and immediately likes it. “It is very tasty. It is my favorite breakfast in Maharashtra,” he says. Take a look at the video here:
Since the time he uploaded this video, it has garnered over a million views, over a thousand comments and 142K likes. Many were impressed that he even offered Vada Pav to a homeless person. Others commented on and appreciated his vada pav eating style. Check out some of the comments below:
