Viral: Man dips leafy vegetables in ‘chemical solution’ – see what happens next

Vegetable vendors sometimes resort to questionable methods to sell their wares. This is not news to us. Many of us know that they use harmful chemicals to make things look attractive. Sometimes, we avoid even such vegetables which look so good Natural, This is because our experiences tell us that there were probably unnatural means behind such a result. Recently, a clip showing such food adulteration has gone viral. The food in question? kind of green leafy vegetable, This is no surprise as green leafy vegetables are often contaminated to appear “fresh”. They are usually used as ingredients and decorated only when they look lush.

This video has been shared by Twitter user Amit Thadani (@amitsurge). He noted that the original source was a LinkedIn post by Devarajan Rajagopalan. He captioned it, “Two minutes of real life horror story.” In the video, we see a man dipping a bunch of stale looking leaves into a liquid solution. He then removes them from the said chemical solution and sets them aside to dry.
