Virat Kohli is in a league of his own. So it should come as no surprise to anyone that even when Kohli scored his maiden international century after a long wait of over 2 years, fans from far and wide celebrated the moment with the Indian cricketer. The cricketer, to a large extent, credited his family for the long-awaited century.
“I am standing here because of one person – my wife Anoushka. She stood by me for so long. It is for Anushka and our daughter Vamika,” Kohli, who scored his last century in 2019, said.
Kohli managed to score an unbeaten 122 off 61 balls, an innings which included six sixes and 12 fours.

“This [the century] One was worth a 1000 words, I am blessed and grateful right now – the last two and a half years have taught me a lot – this November I will be 34 so festivities are of the past.
