Recently, an Amritsar-based food vendor has gone viral for selling something different from the usual popular dishes of the city. Elderly vendors are selling hot and crunchy samosas to eat, and the reason they have won hearts on the internet is that the samosas cost just ₹2.50! The clip of an Amritsar samosa seller was shared on Instagram by blogger Sarabjit Singh, who goes by the handle @mrsinghfoodhunter. Since it was posted, the video has garnered over 1 million views and 153k likes.

In the video, an elderly man can be seen cooking samosas from scratch. he prepared the filling, carved samosas by hand, and also deep fried them; Serve them with delicious chutney. Many people waited for the delicious dishes to be served, which cost only 2 rupees and fifty paise. “75 years old uncle selling samosas on Mahana Singh road for just ₹ 2.50/-” Amritsar,” the blogger wrote in her caption.
