In a video going viral on social media, Pitbull is shown saving a Pitbull from drowning in a swimming pool. According to the New York Post, the incident took place at a home in Jardinopolis, Brazil and was recorded on CCTV installed on the premises. The 25-second clip has been shared widely on social media platforms including YouTube. This video has been viewed thousands of times on social media and the number is increasing. The pitbull had to get a pat from his owner for a job well done.
As soon as the video starts, three puppies can be seen playing near the swimming pool inside the house. Suddenly one of them slips and falls in it. As the puppy fights for its life, other pups start barking to get their owner’s attention.
Meanwhile, Pitbull reached the spot and jumped into the pool to save the puppy. It gently grabs the struggling puppy in its jaws and throws it out of the water.
The owner also comes by then and pats Pitbull on the back. She later told the Post that her heroic five-year-old pitbull named Athena often watches from her special spot on the pool deck.
The puppy Athena rescued is three months old, the outlet adds.
“Dogs are the best,” one user commented on Twitter. “Wonderful,” said another.
One such video went viral last year. The puppy was walking near the swimming pool when he slipped and fell in it. Pitbull rushed to the spot and pulled the puppy out of the water.
The video was posted on Twitter by Buitengbiden and has garnered over six million views.
