A university student brought her bed to class in the UK.
Don’t want to leave the comfort of your bed for the morning lecture? you’re not alone. One student in Britain, in fact, was so reluctant to leave her bed that she showed up for a lecture at 9 a.m. with her mattress on.
Footage that has gone viral on TikTok shows the student, who walks up to @kapciaks on the platform, rolling his mattress and bed in the lecture hall. “When you have 9 o’clock but still want to be in bed,” she captioned the video. She also added the hashtags #uni and #lboro – suggesting that the stunt took place at Loughborough University in Leicestershire.
In the bizarre clip, a student named Magda can be seen dressed in a white robe as she moves her mattress and duvet through the campus. After setting up a bed inside the lecture hall and groping herself in it, she saw other students coming inside and was shocked to see her stunt.
According to Ladbill, the video has garnered nearly a million views on TikTok, along with hundreds of amusing comments.
“If I work from home it’s not me,” commented one viewer. “The dressing gown made this whole video,” said another, while a third wrote: “Commitment to stand out before everyone else.”
While this student clearly intended her stunt to be a joke, the pandemic had actually seen many people opting for comfort while working or attending online classes from home. Last year, Quarantine Pillow Challenge Social media also took a storm as internet users tried to nail the out-of-bed look.
