Recently, a couple from Guwahati, Assam went viral after an adorable video of their marriage contract surfaced online. Instead of the usual vows, the couple went for some bizarre ‘edible’ terms at their wedding ceremony. to keep track:

The video of the couple from Assam was shared on the popular wedding photography page @wedlock_photography_assam. Ever since it was posted, it has gone viral and garnered over 38.8 million views and 1.8 million likes.

In the viral clip, bride Shanti and groom Mehfil can be seen sitting on stage after their ‘Varamala’ ceremony. As the garland adorns his neck, we can see him attaching his signatures to one of his large sheets wedding contract with certain conditions mentioned therein. “Only one pizza a month,” reads the first and then, “always yes to ghar ka khana.” Other food signs in the contract of marriage include, “You will have breakfast on Sunday morning”. [You’ll make breakfast on Sunday morning].” Several witnesses even signed their names on the contract below, thus formalizing the dinner agreement!

The internet was just in love with this adorable couple from Assam who were apparently big foodies.
