Viral Video: Woman scares crocodile with slippers

A woman was filmed scaring a large crocodile with her flip-flops

Imagine that you are standing on the bank of a river and you see a crocodile which is following you only a few feet away. Will you run away or drive away the crocodile? Well, most of us wouldn’t even think of driving the crocodile away with our slippers. But one woman decided to do just that! A video of an encounter between a woman and a crocodile has gone viral. In the video we can see that the woman is standing on the bank of the river with her dog. Soon, we see a crocodile roaming around on them. But what we see next is unexpected.

Instead of running away, the woman stands on the ground, takes off her sandal and claps her hand. To our surprise, the crocodile swam all at once.

The video was captioned as, “Everybody knows what it means when mom takes off her shoe.” This plunged the audience into a face-to-face rift between the woman and the reptile.

As of writing, the video had been viewed over 1.8 million times and liked by nearly 2,500 people.

Users on Twitter reacted with laughing emoji and hilarious comments.

One user wrote, “Best thing for me, she lifts her leg up and takes off her shoe as if she’s done every day for the last 20 years. Husband comes home late, kids act, gator to get dog trying to.”

Another user compared the fear of being beaten up with slippers and a kitchen spoon. The user wrote, ‘Flip-flop comes, someone’s swat is happening. Not as scary as a wooden kitchen spoon, but still…”

A third user told how everyone is scared Sandal Or slippers when it comes to hitting.

Another funny comment surprised that flip-flop banging was prevalent around the world and not confined to any region. “All over the world? Not just in the Mediterranean countries?” User wrote.

Here is a user who wrote about the dog’s reckless reaction in the video. “Dog has experienced that shoe before,” the comment read.

Although it recently resurfaced on Twitter, the clip has been doing the rounds on the internet since 2016. According to Guardian, it was filmed in Australia’s Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory.
