Virat Kohli on 25 September became the second highest run-scorer for India in international cricket, overtaking Rahul Dravid. The star batsman achieved the feat in the third T20I against Australia in Hyderabad. Now Kohli has scored a total of 24,078 runs in 471 matches at an average of 53.62 in 525 innings. His best individual score in international cricket is 254 not out. He has 71 centuries with his bat with 125 half-centuries. He has surpassed Indian great Rahul Dravid, who has scored 24,064 international runs for the Indian cricket team. Although Dravid’s international cricket run tally is 24,208, the rest of his 144 runs have been scored as part of teams like Asia XI, ICC World XI. The highest run scorer for Team India in international cricket is none other than Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar has scored 34,357 runs in 782 innings in 664 matches at an average of 48.52. He has scored 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries with his best score of 248 not out.
