Team India began their training session ahead of the three-match T20I series against Australia, which is scheduled to begin on September 20 in Mohali. before the first game, Virat Kohli And Suryakumar Yadav Some classy shots were spotted during the net session. Both Kohli and Suryakumar were batting next to each other in the nets, showing their shots in the first practice session for the Indian team ahead of the first T20I against Australia. While the first match of the series will be played in Mohali, the second and third T20 matches will be played in Nagpur and Hyderabad respectively.

Kohli came into the series against Australia after a memorable performance in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022.

The tournament proved to be a big boost for him as the player finished as the second highest run-scorer with 276 runs in 5 matches. He was only behind Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan, who scored 281 runs in 6 matches.

Meanwhile, Kohli had an astonishing average of 92.00 in the tournament and had a strike rate of 147.59.

The former India captain also scored his first international century in almost three years with an unbeaten 122 against Afghanistan in the Super 4 stage.

Suryakumar Yadav, on the other hand, scored 139 runs in five matches in the continental event with just one half-century. He wants to be back in the groove before the T20 World Cup 2022 to be held in Australia in October-November.
