Virat Kohli’s fans put up 50-foot cutouts to celebrate the birthday of ‘Mass God’ in Hyderabad

In 2006, a teenage Virat sold out to play a Ranji Trophy match just hours after losing his father, who succumbed to a heart attack. Kohli was crowned ‘man of the match’ that day, he was shaken and reached home on time for his father’s cremation. He has repeatedly proved the solidity of his character as a player and a person, and this is not what his fans miss.

A viral Twitter post shared by user @CricCrazyJohns shows how fans in Hyderabad have celebrated the day with larger than life cutouts of India’s run-machine. It shows him in blue, punching in the air in a gesture of victory, of which Kohli certainly has many. As per a report in South First, the cutout is a record 50 feet high and is located next to Sudarshan Theater in Himayatnagar.

The giant cutout was mounted on top of a building and the height of other houses on top of it and in the vicinity, many social media users went on.

A fan from Pakistan’s Balochistan region recently made a sand art as a tribute to Kohli’s scintillating batting. The sand sculpture of Kohli made by RA Gaddani has created a huge buzz on social media. Sharing a picture, a Twitter user wrote, “A fan of Virat Kohli from Balochistan made this amazing illustration of #ViratKohli using sand art to show his love for the greatest cricketer of our time.”

Fans’ devotion towards Kohli certainly reflects his supreme star status.
