Former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli recently got a new tattoo done on his hand ahead of the Indian Premier League 2023. Mr. Kohli’s love for tattoos is well known. He has inked many tattoos on his body and his fans also adore him. So when they spotted the star player with a new tattoo, many were curious to know what it meant. Now, her tattoo artist has spoken out about the significance of her new body ink and how it reflects a part of her personality.
Sunny Bhanushali, the owner and founder of Aliens Tattoo, has got “King Kohli” tattooed on him. He Said That Mr. Kohli had come to her studio a few years ago with pictures of her tattoo work in his phone and told her that he had been stalking her for more than two years. “I could hardly believe it – this cricket superstar was actually a fan of our work! Despite his immense fame, Virat was incredibly humble and down to earth. He had no airs or attitude and really Appreciated our work and wanted me to work.” On to your next tattoo,” he said.
Unfortunately, busy schedules prevented the project from happening. Mr Kohli approached the artist last month with a special request. “He wanted to cover-up his old tattoo with a new one. “It was clear to me that this tattoo meant a lot to him, and he was determined to get it right. I put my heart and soul into the design, crafting each element carefully to perfection,” he said. .
On the day of the tattoo session, the studio was completely closed and “armed security guards” were deployed to ensure complete safety. The website said, “As the hours passed, Virat became completely immersed in the process of getting the tattoo done. Due to his busy schedule, Virat had to split the tattooing process into two separate sessions. The first appointment was scheduled for the Mumbai studio, where he spent six hours getting inked, and a second, eight-hour appointment was scheduled for the Bangalore studio. Bhanushali said, “Despite the long hours and physical discomfort caused by tattooing, Virat never complained or showed any signs of fatigue.”
