Vivo X80 series with ZEISS lens to launch on this date. Check Out Expected Features

Vivo Next premium flagship smartphone series X80 can be launched in India soon. The Chinese smartphone maker has already launched it in China. The Vivo X80 series is expected to be unveiled in the third week of May. The Twitter handle of Vivo India has said that the phones will be launched soon.

Vivo Two premium flagship smartphones can be introduced in the X80 series; Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro. These smartphones boast of their own shooting (videography) mode and promise to enhance it by industry standards. The notification page for the Vivo X80 series is already live and according to this the phones will be launched in India on May 18.

The teaser states that the Vivo X80 series will use ZEISS lenses. This is not the first case for a smartphone maker to use the famous ZEISS lens in its phones. Earlier, Nokia phones were known to feature ZEISS optics in their high-end smartphones.

Vivo X80 Pro will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset along with Vivo’s own V1+ chip for photography. It will also feature 80W fast charging on an expected 4,700mAh battery. The phone is likely to get 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It will run on Android 12 on the company’s own skin.

Vivo X80 Pro could use a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to use a 50MP main ZEISS lens backed by a 48MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP periscope lens. A 32MP selfie lens can be found in X80 Pro.

MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC can be used in Vivo X80 with 12 GB RAM. It is likely to house a 50MP main Sony IMX866 lens along with a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP portrait sensor. Selfie lens can be like X80 Pro. It can make use of a 4,500mAh battery with an 80W fast charger.
