Vivo Y56 5G smartphone was launched by the company in India on Saturday. The sale of the handset began on February 15 through offline retail outlets. The device is now listed for purchase on the official Vivo website. The newly launched smartphone from Vivo is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has 50-megapixel dual rear cameras and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. The device is sold in a single RAM and storage configuration and is offered in two color options.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y56 5G runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 and features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) LCD screen. According to the company, it is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and 8 GB RAM. The built-in RAM can be “expanded” up to 16GB, using the unused onboard storage on the smartphone.
The dual rear camera unit of the Vivo Y56 5G houses a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video chats, there is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture on the front of the smartphone. It also has 128GB of internal storage.
