Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund said it has received a payment of Rs 149 crore from Vodafone Idea Ltd as interest on its securities investments, which will be distributed among investors of different portfolios.
Franklin Templeton MF spokesperson said, “An interest of ₹ 148.75 crore has been received from Vodafone Idea Limited as on 3,2021 for the security held in different portfolios of five schemes … (non-convertible debentures) received Has happened.” .
Of the six debt schemes of the fund house, which closed in April 2020, five had invested in the telecom firm.
