Volkswagen is building on its ID range quite aggressively and joining the line-up will be the all-new Volkswagen ID. Discussion Herbert Diess, President – Volkswagen Group took to Twitter to announce the launch of the ID. Buzz and his tweet read, “Legend returns on 03/09/22!”. Volkswagen ID. The Buzz is not only expected to be an electric van, but it is also likely to feature autonomous technology. One of the first five self-driving test vehicles to be fully electric. ID test. Buzz AD is taking place at the Argo AI development center in Neufahren near Munich in collaboration with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. Now in terms of looks, we see a mix of distinctive Volkswagen IDs. The family design and inspiration is drawn from the iconic Volkswagen Transporter. The sleek wraparound headlights, sharp alloy wheels and flared wheel arch are very reminiscent of the ID family, while the overall silhouette will remind you of a Volkswagen Transporter. While official specifications are yet to be announced, when VW showcased the concept van, the company had said that the electric vehicle could offer up to 364 bhp, thanks to a 111 kWh battery and a range of 432 kms. The company had said that it would also get an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, which means it would have two electric motors, one for each axle.
