According to the president’s website, President Volodymyr Zelensky sacked Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany, India and several other top foreign envoys. In a decree that gave no reason for the move, it announced the dismissal of Ukraine’s ambassadors to Germany, India, the Czech Republic, Norway and Hungary. It was not immediately clear whether the messengers would be given new jobs. Zelensky has urged his diplomats to drum up international support and military aid for Ukraine as it tries to halt Russia’s February 24 invasion.
