home Ruler Rajesh KumarThe 53-year-old, who runs a box factory in the area, said, “On February 11 at around 7 pm, I left for Vrindavan with my family. We had to return on the night of February 14. At around 3 pm on February 13, I got a call from my neighbor Raghav Dhingra, who said that there had been a burglary in our house.
“Raghav said that he saw a vase kept outside the main door of our house broken. Smelling a mouse, he went inside and saw the lobby door open and the lights on. Raghav knew that we had gone to Vrindavan. Also the main door was locked from outside. Raghav went from the roof of his house to the roof of our house. They informed us when our house was vandalized,” he said.
The family reached the city on Monday evening by boarding the train.
Rajesh said, “A part of the terrace is covered with a fiber sheet. The thief broke the fiber sheet and used a rope to enter the house. He broke the almirah and stole gold and diamond jewelery and Rs 11,000. I have suffered a loss of around Rs 8 lakh.”
Moti Nagar police station investigating officer Kuldeep Singh Told that the thieves entered from the roof. The accused has been caught in the CCTV installed in the neighboring house. A case has been registered.” News Network
