A Walkathon for Sustainable Planet Idea and Model Development was organized at Vidyavardhak College of Engineering Campus on Thursday. The event was part of the 10th International Conference on Transforming Engineering Education for Sustainable Development (ICTIEE), 2023, which is being organized by VVCE in association with Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE). VVCE Principal Sadashiv Gowda talked about the importance of sustainability for the future generations and asked the students to equip themselves with skills in engineering education. He was advised to complete the projects with a focus on sustainability. Higher Education Minister CN Ashwath Narayan and Visvesvaraya Technological University Vice-Chancellor Vidyashankar S will attend the official inauguration of the conference on Friday at 11 am, Vidyavardhak Sangha, Mysuru President Gundappa Gowda and Secretary P. Viswanath. , will preside.
