Want to Live Longer? Nurture these five sleep habits

New Delhi: Developing good sleeping habits can add up to five years to men and two-and-a-half years to women, according to a US study.

The preliminary study, which was presented Thursday at the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology — a nonprofit medical association — gave sleep questionnaires to 172,000 people between 2013 and 2018.

It then analyzed the data collected on five parameters – falling asleep quickly, staying asleep, getting seven to eight hours of sleep, waking up relaxed, and withdrawal of sleep medication.
