On the second day of India Today Conclave East 2022, actor Rajkummar Rao spoke about how the lockdown helped him and Patralekhaa spend more time together and take the next step. The actor also shared that doing dishes is his favorite household chore.

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha tied the knot in November 2021 in an intimate ceremony in Chandigarh. The wedding was attended by close friends and family of the couple. while speaking in the session titled Rule Breakers: Content, Craft and Box Office Success On the second day of India Today Conclave East 2022, Rajkummar opened up on how the lockdown helped the couple spend time together. He also told how he likes to do household chores like ‘washing utensils and sweeping’.
Lockdown helped Rajkumar and Patralekha take the next step
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha got married after dating for 11 years. Talking about being the Jamai (son-in-law) of Bengal, Rajkumar said, “I have come to Kolkata for the first time after marriage. I was doing Ulur Dhoni for myself at my wedding. I really believe that Everyone should get married as you think complete. Patralekha and I have been together for 11 years, but the lockdown helped us spend more time together because earlier our shoot schedules kept us busy. So, after the lockdown, we Decided to take the next step.”
on sharing household chores
When asked if he does household chores, he said, “At home, my routine is very normal. I portray real characters on screen, so it is important for me to be real at home as well. We are both at home. But I’m OCD so I want things to be organized and tidy. Even if she says it will, I have to drop everything and clean up.”
But do you know what is Prince’s favorite housework? “Washing bartons is my favorite, I used to do it with my mom as a kid, and love to sweep too.” Now, who doesn’t want a husband like a prince, who loves washing dishes and cleaning the house, right?

Speaking about the current price of potatoes, Rajkumar quipped that he might not know the price of potatoes, but would definitely know how much fuchka costs. “Know the price of fuchka, but don’t know about potatoes. I love the stall outside Kalibari, whenever I am in Kolkata, I eat fuchka there.”
