WATCH: 5 times Sania Mirza made us laugh with her Instagram video

Sania Mirza has 8.8 million followers on Instagram.

Tennis star Sania Mirza recently announced that she will retire at the end of the 2022 season. She said her body was deteriorating and she was also putting her 3-year-old son at risk by traveling with him in times of a pandemic. However, his social media presence over the years has been anything but lacking in energy or inspiration. A prolific social media user, the 35-year-old has been a treat to follow on Instagram, as she shares funny videos of herself with friends and family.

Here are some of the funniest and weirdest social media posts that Sania shared:

1) Why is it Monday again?

One of the recent videos she shared on Instagram was how people felt about the ‘Monday blues’ – a feeling of lack of motivation to get to work after two pleasant days of weekends. This video of him will surely leave you stunned. While making quirky facial expressions, we can hear Sania lip-syncing in a strange, cartoon voice, “Why is it Monday again? It was like a few days ago, I sleep, I wake up, and it’s Monday again”. Sania captioned the video as, “Ahh… seems Monday”. His filmmaker-friend Farah Khan was one of the commentators on the video. Farah wrote, ‘I think you should always talk like this. We couldn’t agree more.

2) very annoying or simply beautiful

Sania Mirza and her husband cricketer Shoaib Malik are a very sweet couple. Not only that, they seem to have a complete understanding of each other’s sense of humor. Take for example this Instagram reel, where Sania is making a video in a room while Shoaib is sitting behind her. Sania says, “My husband called me beautiful today. Well, he said I am very upset, but I only focus on the positive, you see. Even when she is filming the video So we can see Shoaib making a face behind him. Sania captioned it with an eye-roll emoji, “He thinks I can’t see his expressions.”

3) First child problem

In another hilarious video, Sania was seen dismissing the fact that her parents treat her and her younger sister differently. Through some funny captions pasted on the video, Sania highlighted the kind of restrictions she faced as an elder brother while her younger sister got all the leeway. The caption read, “My 15 year old sister, my younger sister: Can I go to London? Parents: Sure.” The next line read, “I am 21 years old, me: can I go to sleep? Parents: No.” Her expressions about this so-called disparity were surprisingly sweet. “First child problems,” Sania captioned the post.

4) Act gone wrong

Sania Mirza once tried to recreate a self defense video tutorial and left the fans laughing. The original clip depicts a hostage turning the tables on his gun-wielding kidnappers, snatching their weapons and gaining an edge over them. In Sania’s reels, she plays the kidnapper and popular travel blogger Parikshit Balochi plays the part of the hostage, kneeling with his hands behind her head. As Sania points the toy gun at him, Baluchi tries to snatch it from him, but she is too quick to take it back. Not only this, she slaps him on the left cheek and laughs like a child.

5) Ignored by friends

What happens when Sania Mirza is not tagged by her best friends in a meme post? Well, she couldn’t care less. At least that’s what she seems to be suggesting in this reel. Lip-syncing a line from Popular Look at that crazy Numbers from the 2001 movie Happiness some time, sorrow another timeShe goes”There is no such dearth of friends in the world, man (I have no dearth of friends in this world)”.

We love watching Sania play, but while she is seriously considering hanging up her shoes, we sincerely hope that she continues to enthrall her followers on social media with her quirky and cute videos.
