Friendship of Ramsamuj Yadav and Saras Saras has gone viral

After the unique friendship between Arif Khan Gurjar and Saras Saras grabbed national headlines, another male-bird friendship story has come to the fore from Mau in Uttar Pradesh. According to news agency ANI, the story began when Ramsamuj Yadav, a resident of Baraipar Malik village, fed a hungry bird while working in the field.

Initially after feeding twice the bird started coming to him again and again. She also said that the bird started living with her and the bond soon deepened. Like Mr. Gurjar, Mr. Yadav also plays with a stork and feeds it with his own hands.

ANI also shared a video of Mr Yadav playing with the crane and feeding it. The caption accompanying the video reads, “Heart-warming interaction between Saras Saras in Uttar Pradesh and Ramsamuj Yadav of Mau.”

In the video, the crane crane is seen running after Mr. Yadav and seems quite at ease in his presence.

Earlier, the wonderful relationship between Arif Khan Gurjar and Saras Saras of Amethi remained a topic of discussion on social media for months. Notably, Mr Gurjar rescued an endangered bird and nursed it back to health. “I nursed it back to health. Then it went back into the wild and visited me from time to time,” he said. Crane soon begins following him throughout the city where he lives and their videos go viral.

Significantly, Saras Saras is the state bird of Uttar Pradesh and it is illegal to keep it in the house. Soon after the video went viral, forest department officials picked up the bird last month and charged Mr Gurjar under various sections of the Wildlife Protection Act.

The footage was captured during their visit to the Kanpur zoo, where the crane has been kept in a cage. Talking to NDTV, Mr. Gurjar said that he wants the bird to get its freedom back after the quarantine in the zoo is over.
