A crowd gathered to watch the reverse auto race.
A reverse auto rickshaw driving competition was organized in Sangli district of Maharashtra on Tuesday. The event was organized at Haripur village on the occasion of Sangameshwar Yatra, reported news agency ANI.
In a video tweeted by ANI, auto-rickshaw drivers are seen running in the opposite direction at significant speed while looking back over their shoulders. Crowds of people turned up to watch the race and cheer the participants. A person can also be heard describing the race via live commentary.

last year, a bullock cart raceMore than 350 bullock cart owners participated in the rally organized at Landewadi in Ambegaon tehsil of Pune district. According to former Shiv Sena MP from Shirur, Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, who organized the run, car owners from Pune and neighboring Ahmedabad district participated in the event.
The kart owners raced individually over a 400-meter track and the winners were decided by the times clocked by each kart.
