Black ink thrown at Rakesh Tikait in Bangalore

On Monday, miscreants threw black ink at Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait in Bengaluru. According to the information, the incident was reported during a program organized by a farmers’ organization at Gandhi Bhavan.
Soon after the incident, a scuffle broke out between the organizers and the miscreants, after which both the sides attacked each other with plastic chairs.
Police have detained three people in connection with the ink attack on Tikait.
A video of this incident has been shared by news agency ANI.
Commenting on the attack, Rakesh Tikait today alleged that security was not provided by the local police.
“There is no security provided by the local police here,” said Rakesh Tikait.
“The local police are responsible for this and it happened because of the complicity of the government,” Tikait told reporters.
Black ink was visible on his turban, face, kurta and green shawl around his neck.
