A food delivery agent for UberEats allegedly interrupted an ongoing basketball game in the United States in an attempt to place an order. Yes, you heard that right! The delivery agent went to the basketball court to look for the man who had placed the McDonald’s order in the middle of the game. Video of the incident was uploaded to Twitter by a man named Connor Newell. And in no time, it caught the attention of the internet. The caption read, “It’s true. In the video, we can see food delivery agent Walking onto the basketball court with ordered food in hand. In fact, due to this incident, the organizers had to stop the game for some time. According to an ESPN report, a commentator of the match was heard saying, “Was he going to give McDonald’s to someone on the court? Can we rule it out?” Allegedly, the McDonald’s The food was later given to a referee who had given the order.
As soon as the video was uploaded on social media, people started giving their feedback on it. While some appreciated the dedication of the delivery partners towards their work, others raised concerns about the safety during the game.
