The Fame Game trailer and release date are here. On Thursday, Netflix India revealed the trailer for the upcoming series, which will star Madhuri Dixit Nene in the lead role. The show is based on the life of Bollywood’s biggest (fictional) star Anamika Anand, who disappears without a trace.

I don’t want to be caught by the evil eye,” she says, as she explains what it takes to be a famous actor. The video takes a sharp turn in what appears to be an empty room, when Anand’s daughter’s voice is heard asking: “Do you know where my mother is?” and the missing actor’s voice is heard. The search begins.
Forty-eight hours after the actor’s disappearance, police delve deeper into Anand’s family life with her relationship with her husband (Sanjay Kapoor). “I was a middle-class boy from Nagpur who got a chance to marry his dream girl. How do you think our relationship was?” He says. “We weren’t just co-stars, we were much more than that,” he says in response to the police officer’s question whether the actor shared everything with him. Not convinced, the officer says that there is one reality in front of the camera and the other behind it.
The trailer for The Fame Game also featured various scenes from the actor’s life, including a dance sequence from a movie, paparazzi shots in a public place and his walk crying. He said, ‘Everything is perfect in Anamika Anand’s life. This is not true,” says Dixit co-star Manav Kaul. Sometimes, your own family cannot be trusted,” says Anand’s daughter, as the search for the actor continues.
Set in the world of a glamorous Bollywood celebrity, The Fame Game follows the story of actor Anamika Anand (Madhuri Dixit), who disappears into thin air, without a word from family and friends. But not everything is as it appears, and those close to Anamika will soon discover the dark side of her fortune and fame. The series was previously titled Finding Anamika, but Netflix Recently announced that it will be called The Fame Game.
