How to make Masala Moong Dal Puri

Grind the soaked moong dal with ginger, garlic, green chillies, cumin, fennel and black pepper to a fine paste. Add some water while grinding.

Transfer the paste to a plate and add asafoetida, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, crushed carom seeds, salt and crushed kasoori fenugreek. Mix it well.

Knead a hard dough by adding semolina, oil and wheat flour. Roll out the dough and deep fry the pooris. Masala Moong Dal Puri is ready!
