A man who arrived at a fuel station in Surrey by an unlikely mode of transport is drawing attention. Arguably, they found an old school solution and opted for a reliable commute. On 28 September, a man rode on horseback into the shell refill forecourt at Thames Ditton in Osterley, west London.
A video, now going viral on the internet, shows a Gus Lee-Dolphin passing through a long line of motorists hoping to get fuel. Footage taken from his perspective captured him mocking the drivers standing at the station as he left. Gus filmed his movements near his house and later shared the clip on Instagram. The clip started circulating after it was re-shared by a popular meme page on the platform.

The video has got millions of views and many funny comments. The prankster, sitting on the back of a chestnut horse, later told Storyful that he was riding a horse for the first time.
Just last week, Gus took his bike to the petrol pump in another mild prank. He shared a video from the trip in which he can be heard singing, “Queue for petrol, queue for petrol, we don’t need petrol, because I am on a bike.”

Gus also posted a happy picture of himself sitting on a horse.
Most fuel pumps in the UK ran dry after panic buying due to unprecedented demand in the country. After a chaotic week, British ministers said on Thursday that the situation was getting under control. Last week saw long queues of cars for refueling amid an acute delivery crisis. From filling old bottles and canisters with petrol to major fights at gas stations that resulted in more traffic jams on busy roads, a large part of Britain was disrupted. The scale of the gas station crisis became apparent when the UK government placed several troops on standby to deal with supply problems.
