The County Division 2 match between Sussex and Durham ended in a draw at the County Ground, Hove on Sunday. Cheteshwar Pujara and Mohammad Rizwan were exceptional performers for the Sussexes as both scored 203 and 79 runs respectively in the first innings to help the team post 538 runs on the board. Rizwan then bowled two overs for Sussex in the second innings and the match ended in a draw.

Rizwan bowled medium pace and conceded just five runs in his two overs. He almost got a wicket too because one of his balls had some strange bounce and the batsman had no clue.

The official Twitter handle of Sussex shared a video of Rizwan’s bowling on Twitter and it quickly went viral.

The Sussexes tweeted, “He does it all. 1st over from iMRizwanPak at @countychamp.”

Reacting to the video, his Pakistan teammate Shaheen Shah Afridi made a hilarious tweet.

The Pakistan pacer wrote, “Rizzi bhai, should we take retirement now? What are you? Some are thieves for us too.”

In the game, Durham batted first and posted just 223 as Aaron Beard and tom clark Returned with three wickets each for Sussex.

Cheteshwar Pujara then scored 203 runs and Sussex scored 238 runs and took a lead of 315 runs. This is Pujara’s third consecutive century in the ongoing County Championship.

Durham openers Alex Lees and Sean Dixon scored centuries in the second innings and Durham declared their innings at 364/3.

In the end the match ended in a draw. Sussex are currently second in Division 2 with 31 points from four matches, 42 points behind table-toppers Nottinghamshire.
