Two tourists who planned to indulge in an outdoor adventure at a Kerala beach got a scare when their parachute did not land where it was supposed to. A man and a woman paragliding at Papanasam beach in Thiruvananthapuram’s rural Varkala got stuck in a pole after their parachute got tangled.
The video of this unfortunate incident is going viral on social media. It shows several high-voltage lights strung atop an electric pole, and two paragliders trying not to fall from the more than 50-foot pole.
According to news agency PTI, Two men were left hanging from the pole for nearly two hours before being rescued.
