Singer AP Dhillon needs no introduction as his popularity has skyrocketed in recent times. The singer has created a loyal fan base through his catchy and peppy Punjabi songs which now dominate every party, celebration and even Instagram reels. His songs have topped the charts not only in India but also in Canada and the UK. Taking advantage of his popularity, an LED display board at a petrol pump displayed the lyrics of one of his songs to attract customers.

An Instagram user named Wakeupsingh shared the video and said that the clip was taken at Bharat Petro Point in Jalandhar, Punjab. The text in the video reads, “POV: Indian petrol stations are on a different level of marketing.” The post also showed other pictures of the location.

The clip shows the lyrics of AP Dhillon’s popular song flashing on an LED display board ‘excuses’ But with a twist. It is written on the display board, “Kehdi hundi si, tanki full karade”.

Instagram users were amazed by the video and could not keep calm. Many others praised the marketing strategy adopted by the petrol pump. Others filled the comments section with laughing and heart emojis.

last year song ‘excuses’ spawned a trend called ‘Kehndi Hundi Si’ Online. The phrase roughly translates to “she used to say.” Many brands also picked up on the trend and created some hilarious memes on their social media handles. Zomato, Mother Dairy, Dunzo, IndiGo and Swiggy were some of the brands that participated in this trend.
