Wedding ceremony accident in Chhattisgarh: No complaint has been lodged regarding the incident.

A wedding far more exciting than tying the knot in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur took place when a high stage full of fireworks collapsed during a ceremony on Saturday.
Fortunately, the couple suffered only minor injuries in the incident and the rituals continued after 30 minutes.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the bride and groom are seen standing on the platform rising above the stage. A few minutes later, the harness broke and slammed the two onto the stage.
No complaint has been lodged regarding the incident.
The event management company that planned the event apologized for the incident.
An employee of the firm said that the accident happened due to some ‘technical issues’ during the ‘sangeet’ festival.
“No one was hurt in the incident. The bride and groom are safe,” he claimed. The company will ensure that such incidents do not happen again in future, he added.
