Shivam Dube smashes three terrific sixes including 111m hit against Harshal Patel as RCB register win against CSK in IPL 2023

Shivam Dube was in no mood to play against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday as the Chennai Super Kings batsman smashed three massive sixes including the second longest six in the IPL 2023 season, a 111-metre hit.

Dube was in devastating form, scoring 52 runs off 27 balls, bringing up his first half-century of the season in just 25 balls. Dubey’s knock came at an impressive strike rate of 192.59.

Overall, the middle-order batsman hit 2 fours and 5 sixes, including three sixes, the first one being a 101-metre six, followed by a 102-metre six, and later he came up with a third monstrous hit that covered a distance of 111 metres. Fixed and landed in the third category!

In the past, Dube has enjoyed playing against RCB, scoring an unbeaten 95 against the same opposition before hitting his first half-century of the season after scoring a 32-ball 46.

Talking about the match, RCB captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bowl first, dismissing early success Ruturaj Gaikwad for just 3 runs.

Devon Conway, however, continued his attack and scored 83 off 45 balls. He joined hands with Ajinkya Rahane, the latter hitting a quickfire 37 off only 20 balls.

Dube then joined Conway and continued to attack after Rahane departed, however, following the dismissal of Shivam after Wayne Parnell edged out the CSK batsman to dismiss Mohammed Siraj. The latter pulled off a viral Cristiano Ronaldo celebration, and Virat Kohli Was celebrating with full aggression as he often does.

Ambati Rayudu also added 14 runs in just six balls. Ravindra Jadeja added 10 runs as Chennai Super Kings posted a total of 226/6 in 20 overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
