Watch: Sister-in-law fell into a drain while fighting amidst crowd of spectators in Rajasthan

Arguments and differences among family members are not new. Unless they come out in the open on the road or get into the drain, as in the case of this viral video. The video, which was posted online by a Twitter user, shows two women fighting inside a creek as onlookers capture the act on video. According to the caption of the video, the women are reportedly sisters-in-law and fell into the drain after an argument over a property dispute. In the video, the two can be seen brutally punching each other. Instead of stopping the fight, other family members may also come face-to-face.

Since being posted online on June 17, the video has garnered over 1.5 lakh views on Twitter, as well as a flood of reactions from users.

According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, the women belong to a reputed family of Ajmer, Rajasthan. Petrol pump owner Narendra Kumawat and his deceased brother’s family have been fighting for the ownership of petrol for a long time. On Thursday, the widow of the deceased brother reached the disputed petrol pump with her parents and started beating.

Narendra Kumawat’s wife retaliated and the fight soon escalated with both the sisters pulling each other’s hair on the road.

The fighting intensified and soon other members of the family joined in. Both the parties have filed a case of assault against each other with the police.

However, this is not the first video that has surfaced on the internet. Earlier this year, a video of school girls from Bangalore fighting on the streets went viral on social media. Girls dressed in school uniforms were seen pulling each other’s hair. The fight reportedly started between two girls who were fighting over a boy, but things escalated after their friends got involved.
