Watch: Street vendor’s unique strategy to sell his produce leaves Twitterati stunned

In India, it is common to see vendors and small shopkeepers trying to sell their products by attracting customers in their distinctive style. Some try to attract people’s attention by composing catchy jingles like Bhuban Badyakar, which went viral for his ‘Raw Almond’ Sing. Now, a video of a street vendor and his unique style of selling his products has gone viral on the internet.

This video has been shared by Indian Police Service officer Dipanshu Kabra on Twitter. In the short clip, a man can be seen selling large plastic containers, which he says “pot”, He then throws the containers on the road repeatedly to prove how strong they are.

Although the exact location of the video is not known, several users said that it is from West Bengal.

Since being shared, the video has collected over 43,000 views, 1,302 likes and over 200 retweets. People were amazed at the hilarious way of selling the plastic container and many applauded the seller’s confidence.

One user wrote, “This kind of confidence comes only when you have faith in your products. There’s something about marketing that door-to-door salespeople apply there – Kancha Badam, now this.” A third wrote, “It’s a demonstration of product benefits, not a marketing proposition.”

A fourth added, “This is the best strategy if you have a good product, effectively showcasing its USP.” Yet another added, “Best live demo.”
