Tooth Fairy: When Love Bites Just got a trailer. Ahead of its April 20 release, Netflix has released the trailer of its upcoming romantic horror film starring Shantanu Maheshwari.Gangubai Kathiawadi) and Tanya Maniktala (Flames).
Helmed by Bengali director Pratim Dasgupta, Tooth Fairy teases the audience with the title ‘An Impossible Love Story’, which depicts the relationship between a bloodthirsty vampire and her shy next-door dentist. The series is about an apparently simple love story taking a complete U-turn. The trailer features veteran actress Revathi in an intriguing avatar – as Luna Luca, a headstrong idolater who learns of the resurgence of vampires in the modern world after years of hibernation and will stop at nothing to thwart them .
Sikandar KherMonica, oh my darling) plays a police officer investigating vampire attacks in Kolkata. Meanwhile, Adil Hussain and Tilottoma Shome’s get-up also raises curiosity whether they are with Luka.

The title has the letter ‘r’ in the word ‘angel’ spelled backwards which piques the curiosity of fans. A promo from last month hinted that during surgery, Rumi accidentally tastes the dentist’s blood, which serves as a catalyst for the love story.
Sharing the trailer, Shantanu wrote, “Bite you to watch this impossible love story between a human doctor and a bloodthirsty vampire.” Tanya wrote on her Insta-story, “Revenged love, the secret world, a vampire among humans – Rumi is at the center of it all – and she’s just getting started…”
Apart from daily soaps, Shantanu is known for his dancing skills. He grabbed the attention of the massive audience with Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Tanya rose to fame with the screen adaptation of Shimit Amin and Mira Nair’s A Suitable Boy.
The series will be streaming on Netflix from April 20.
