Here are some ways to store garlic to increase its shelf life:

  • First, separate the garlic cloves from the bunch and then peel each clove.
  • Once done, put them in a large blender. (Note: Do not add water while blending.)
  • Then, blend the garlic cloves until a smooth and even paste is obtained.
  • Once the paste is ready, take an ice tray and fill each portion of it with the prepared garlic mixture.
  • Store the tray in the freezer.
  • Take it out whenever you want to use it.

Note: You can also use fresh herbs when blending the garlic. This is done to enhance the flavor of the mixture.
