But, if you are one of those people who like an extra dose of spice in everything they do, then this recipe is for you. This sizzling chili-garlic fried rice will taste like no other on your palate. We found this recipe video on YouTube channel ‘Ananya Banerjee’ and we were instantly delighted with it. In addition to this burnt garlic, there’s a lot of burnt red chilies, and it doesn’t end there. Also a generous amount of red chili paste and green chili paste is added – it’s all fried together (or burnt). The best part is that this dish is made in a full 15 minutes.

Quick and Easy Burnt Chilli Garlic Fried Rice Recipe:

Heat oil in a pan, add whole red chilies and lots of garlic. Then green chili paste and red chili paste (make a paste by mixing green chili and Kashmiri red chili, add separately). Fry well.

Then add chopped onion (preferably spring onion) and ginger. After frying, add your vegetables. Remember not to over cook them. Add steamed rice (or leftover rice). Salt to taste and add a dash of sugar, some soy sauce, and vinegar to balance the flavor. Mix well, and sprinkle some spring onion leaves.
