The video begins with the lion resting on a rock. The videographer first zooms in and shows the lion sleeping on a rock, which is in the middle of a river. Then the camera pans and shows a herd of hippos surrounding the lion. For a few seconds, all the hippopotamus seem to be looking only at the hunter. But after that, one of them steps forward and attacks the lion, pushing it off the cliff. Once in the water, the lion immediately pounces on another hippopotamus, which was hiding under water.
At first, things seem to be back to normal as the lion floats with its head out of the water; But after a few seconds, the hippo below jumps up and tries to attack the lion. The lion then swims away and the video ends.
The video was posted on YouTube on 14 March. This clip has been viewed more than 46 lakh times so far.
