The aspiring IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officer cracked one of the toughest exams in India and is now enjoying her success. A video has gone viral in which Gamini is seen celebrating and dancing with her parents.

In the video uploaded on Twitter by news agency ANI, Gamini along with her family members is seen shaking a leg and performing Bhangra to the beat of the dhol.

After achieving this feat, Gamini has expressed her gratitude to her family for supporting her emotionally and morally. “Feeling very satisfied. Almighty has blessed me, I want to thank God and my entire family who supported me emotionally, morally and also in my studies,” said Gamini. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the final results of Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2021 on 30 May. This year, women candidates secured the top three positions. Delhi-based Shruti Sharma emerged as the top scorer and secured the first all-India rank. The second rank was secured by Ankita Agarwal, followed by Gamini Singla, who secured the third position in the Civil Services Examination.

As per the official results, a total of 685 applicants made it through UPSC CSE 2021 and were recommended for appointment. These include 177 females and 508 males.

UPSC had notified a total of 749 vacancies which were to be filled by the CSE 2021 exam. Of these, 200 posts were of India Police Service (IPS) and 180 posts were of Indian Administrative Service (IAS). The preliminary exam was conducted on October 10 last year, while the main exam was conducted from January 7 to 16 this year.
