Watch: Vietnamese food blogger’s reaction to eating South Indian food for the first time

As much as we love eating food, there is one more thing we can enjoy a little more than that. Any guesses on what this could be? Recently, a Vietnamese food blogger @foodwithsoy shared her experience of eating idli, vada and chutney for the first time. @foodwithsoy often uploads videos of them trying out new dishes and sharing them with their viewers.

In this recent video, we can see the food blogger sitting with a platter of idli, vada, sambhar and three chutneys- tamarind, coconut and green chutney. After having the first idli, she says that she is excited to eat idli. She also tells her viewers that Idli is made from rice and is famous in South India. After eating the idli, she says that it is very tasty and delicious.

Since Blogger uploaded this video, it’s garnered 154K views, 11.2K likes and hundreds of comments! Many people have said in the comment section that they love South Indian food. Some even went so far as to say that they can teach him how to make idli at home. One user wrote, ‘Girl, I will show you how to make idli and eat it with chutney and sambar. Another person wrote, “You should get an idli steamer!! Very tasty when they are fresh. Plus, you can make sambar in a rice cooker too! I managed it for Onam this year.”

A user also told him the right way to eat idli. The user wrote, “Usually when we eat idli, we don’t cut it in half. We pinch some of it, eat it by dipping sambar/chutney. When you eat little by little, it becomes more chutney. Soaks up the sambar and tastes even better!”
