WATCH: Viral video of glass octopus shocks the internet

Organisms that live deep in the vast oceans are still alien to us. A video of one such sea creature has recently created a stir on the internet.

These beautiful deep-sea creatures are found where sunlight does not reach. World Octopus Day (October 8).

The video shows an almost transparent octopus swimming in the ocean, and the views are stunning. With bright yellow spots and its internal organs clearly visible, the octopus is seen swimming peacefully in the blue water.

Upon seeing the video, Twitter users expressed wonder at the beauty of marine life in the comments section of the viral video. One user shed some light on the species of octopus and wrote, “They too are so clear like glass that you can see their nerves and digestive system. Their appearance is camouflage, and this ability will protect them from attack. ,

According to the official website of the Ocean Conservancy, the beautiful cephalopod is rarely seen because it is found at depths of about 3,000 feet, where even sunlight cannot reach. They can grow up to 1.5 feet tall and live for about 2-5 years.
