This year, the pass percentage stood at 86.60%, which is an all-time high pass percentage in the history of WB Secondary examinations. This was the first time that the class 10 board exams were conducted after the COVID-19 pandemic.
When the last time West Bengal 10th board exam was conducted in 2020, the pass percentage was 86.34%. In 2021, the exam could not be conducted due to the second wave of COVID-19 and all the students enrolled in the exam were declared pass.

This year, Raunak Mandal of East Burdwan and Arnab Gorai of Bankura have topped the WBBSE Secondary Examination 2022. He has scored 693 marks. At the same time, Mausiki Sarkar of Malda has secured the second position with 692 marks.

WBBSE had conducted the class 10 exam from March 7 to 16, 2022. A total of 10,79,749 candidates had enrolled for the exam this year.
