global star Priyanka Chopra shared on Friday night that she and her husband Nick Jonas have welcomed a baby boy through surrogacy. The actor sought privacy to focus on his family during ‘this special time’. This is Priyanka and Nick’s first child. They got married in 2018.

Sharing a note on Instagram tagging Nick, Priyanka wrote, “We are very happy to confirm that we have welcomed a baby boy through a surrogate. We respectfully demand privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you very much.” The same post has also been shared by Nick Jonas on his social media page.

The couple’s exciting announcement came just a week after Chopra, 39, hinted at she and Jonas’ desire to have children in an interview with “Vanity Fair.”

“They are a big part of our desire for the future,” the “Quantico” actress shared. “By the grace of God, when it happens, it happens.”

Chopra and Jonas, 29, have been married for three years. They tied the knot in an extraordinary affair of 3 days in India.
