Dehradun: Director General of Police (DGP) Ashok Kumar told ThePrint that police in Uttarakhand are scanning the video of the controversial ‘Dharma Sansad’ in Haridwar between December 17-19 and will take appropriate action.

Uttarakhand DGP Kumar told ThePrint that although no complaint against Dharma Sansad “has been filed with the police, all videos are being investigated and evaluated by law enforcement agencies”.
“We are aware of the speeches at the conclave, but have not received any complaint yet. Speeches were given in front of thousands of saints in the Parliament of Religions.

Another seer, a Swami Amrita Nanda said, “Dharma cannot be protected without weapons”.
