Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday asked the government to immediately share its evacuation plan with those stranded in Ukraine and their families as he shared a video of some students there being harassed by the army. “My heart goes out to the Indian students suffering from this kind of violence and their families watching these videos. No parent should go through this,” he said while sharing a video of some students on Twitter.

“The Government of India should immediately share the detailed evacuation plan with the stranded people as well as their families. We cannot spare our people,” Gandhi also said. Gandhi and the Congress party have been criticizing the government for not evacuating Indian students from Ukraine on time and have called for immediate steps to expel them after Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
Several Congress leaders have shared videos highlighting the plight of Indian students in Ukraine and appealing to the Indian government to evacuate them at the earliest.
